Daily Update: After each class, a synopsis of what was covered appears here: Daily Update.
Homework Assignments: Homework will be of two types. There will be problems assigned daily after each class. Beginning September 8, there will also be biweekly (fortnightly) homework assignments to be turned in, which consist largely of problems selected from the Daily Homework. You may discuss homework problems with your fellow classmates; in fact, I encourage you to form working groups for homework sets. However, I would like to ask that each person in the class write up the final version of each assignment on their own.
Daily Homework: Can be found here.
Course Grading: Your total Homework score will count 75 percent of your final grade. There will also be an in-class final exam counting 25 percent of your final grade.
Grading Scale: A = 80-100; B = 60-79; C= 50-59; D = 40-49; F = 0-39.
Final Exam Date: Tuesday, December 9, 10:30am -1:00pm.
Canvas: All important course information and relevant resources can also be found on Canvas.
